Singer in War

This is an image I get in my head whenever I listen to the last verse of Harvey Danger's War Buddies:

When the tanks roll into Warsaw
Will I find you at the front,
Singing into a tape recorder
Shouldering the brunt
Of the attack....

It didn't come out exactly the way I wanted it to, and there were some interesting technical challenges along the way - not the least of which was deciding that the POV should be lower when I was halfway through the drawing.

I also discovered that drawing a war zone was more than I had patience for.

For all that, though, I like him.
